Blowing and Drifting Snow through Midnight, Icy Roads Tonight

There will be a period of open country ground blizzard conditions for the next few hours in the Fargo area.  Otherwise, expect improving conditions from north to south overnight with winds subsiding.  Roads will be extremely tonight though so travel with caution.  Snow will overspread the region by Saturday night, with 1-3 inches expected.  A strong arctic front will plow through the area on Sunday, and blizzard condtions are possible with dangerous wind chills developing.  Stay tuned to later statements on Sundays potential blizzard.
