...Heat and Humidity Headed Our Way...

After what has been a relatively cool Summer thus far, we're heading into a short stretch of more typical July conditions to close out the weekend and begin next week.  Temperatures today will climb into the upper 80s east of Interstate 29, with readings topping 100 degrees in south central South Dakota! Heat index values averaging 100 to 105 degrees are likely this afternoon and early evening. The dangerous heat and humidity will be short-lived, as high temperatures mainly in the 80s spread back into the region for Tuesday and Wednesday.
