SNOW CONTINUED TO FALL ACROSS MUCH OF WESTERN...CENTRAL AND FAR
SOUTHEASTERN SOUTH DAKOTA OVERNIGHT. LITTLE OR NO SNOW FELL
OVERNIGHT NORTHEAST OF A SIOUX FALLS...MOBRIDGE LINE. SEVERAL INCHES
OF SNOW...SIX TO SIXTEEN...HAVE FALLEN ACROSS MUCH OF THE WEST AND
SOUTH CENTRAL...AND PERSISTENT EASTERLY WINDS OF 15 TO 30 MPH HAVE
BLOWN THE SNOW INTO DRIFTS UP TO SIX FEET DEEP AND GREATLY REDUCED
VISIBILITIES. MANY ROADS ACROSS THIS AREA ARE BLOCKED BY DRIFTS.

10 INCHES AT TYNDALL...OELRICHS AND WAGNER
10.9 INCHES AT RAPID CITY
11 INCHES AT LAKE ANDES
12 INCHES NORTHWEST OF USTA...SIX FOOT SNOW DRIFTS
13.3 INCHES AT PACTOLA DAM
14 INCHES AT FAIRFAX...MISSION AND ORAL

OVERNIGHT LOW TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE UPPER TEENS AND LOWER 20S
ACROSS THE WEST...THE LOWER AND MIDDLE 20S ACROSS THE CENTRAL...
AND IN THE MIDDLE AND UPPER 20S ACROSS THE EAST. OELRICHS WAS THE
COLDEST ON THE PRAIRIES WITH A LOW OF 18 DEGREES WHILE IN THE BLACK
HILLS...CUSTER FELL TO 11 DEGREES AND DEERFIELD 8 DEGREES.

OVERNIGHT WINDS WERE EASTERLY AT 15 TO 25 MPH ACROSS THE WEST AND
SOUTH CENTRAL...AND FROM THE EAST AND NORTHEAST AT 8 TO 18 MPH
ACROSS THE EAST AND NORTH CENTRAL.

AT 11 AM CST SKIES WERE CLOUDY OVER THE RUSHMORE STATE WITH PARTIAL
SUNSHINE OVER THE NORTHEAST. SNOW CONTINUED TO FALL ACROSS MUCH OF
THE WEST. TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE LOWER AND MIDDLE 20S ACROSS THE
WEST...AND THE UPPER 20S AND LOWER 30S CENTRAL AND EAST. EXTREMES
WERE FROM 22 DEGREES AT RAPID CITY AND PINE RIDGE TO 34 DEGREES AT
HURON. IN THE BLACK HILLS CUSTER HAD LIGHT SNOW AND 14 DEGREES.
WINDS WERE EASTERLY AT 15 TO 25 MPH.
