Where is there snow still on the ground?

The satellite image below shows where snow was still on the ground at 1245 pm Saturday afternoon April 14. The deepest snow was located over the Buffalo Ridge of Southwest Minnesota and near the pothole lakes of Eastcentral South Dakota. There was also a very small area of deeper snow near Wessington Springs. The snow will melt rapdily the next few days as high temperatures are expected to be in the 50s and 60s on Sunday...and in the 60s to lower 70s on Monday.
