SOUTH DAKOTA OVER THE WEEKEND WAS CENTERED NEAR FARGO NORTH DAKOTA
MONDAY AFTERNOON. NORTHWEST WINDS BROUGHT DRIER AIR INTO THE STATE
...WITH CLEARING SKIES EARLY IN THE AFTERNOON NEAR AND EAST OF THE
MISSOURI RIVER VALLEY...AND LATE IN THE DAY ACROSS THE PRAIRIES TO
THE WEST AND SOUTH OF ABERDEEN AND ACROSS THE SOUTHEAST.
AFTERNOON SKIES WERE SUNNY OVER THE WEST WITH SOME CLOUDINESS OVER
THE BLACK HILLS.

AFTERNOON HIGH TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE UPPER 50S TO AROUND 60
DEGREES ACROSS THE NORTHEAST AND BLACK HILLS...AND IN THE 60S ACROSS
THE REST OF THE STATE. PINE RIDGE WAS THE WARMEST WITH A HIGH OF 69
DEGREES.

AFTERNOON WINDS WERE FROM THE WEST AND NORTHWEST AT 10 TO 20 MPH
WITH HIGHER GUSTS. WINDS WERE A BIT STRONGER...15 TO 25 MPH WITH
GUSTS OVER 30 MPH...ACROSS THE NORTHWEST AND NEAR PIERRE.

AT 8 PM CDT SKIES REMAINED CLOUDY OVER THE NORTHEAST WHILE THE REST
OF THE RUSHMORE STATE WAS CLEAR. TEMPERATURES WERE MAINLY IN THE
UPPER 50S AND LOWER 60S ALTHOUGH THE NORTHEAST AND BLACK HILLS HAD
COOLED INTO THE MIDDLE 50S. EXTREMES WERE FROM 53 DEGREES AT
WATERTOWN TO 65 DEGREES AT PINE RIDGE. WINDS WERE FAVORING A
NORTHWEST DIRECTION AT 6 TO 12 MPH.
