Summary of Severe Weather Reports from May 23, 2006

Below is a summary of severe weather reports received by the National Weather Service for May 23, 2006.  There were numerous reports of wind gusts of 60 to 65 mph.  There were also several reports of gustnadoes, which are short-lived tornadoes which develop along the outflow boundary of thunderstorms.
