The National Weather Service and the South Dakota Office of Emergency Management has declared the week of October 26th through the 30th as Winter Weather Preparedness Week in South Dakota. We would like to remind everyone that now is the time to start preparing themeselves, their families, vehicles, and homes for the onset of adverse winter weather. Throughout this week, we will be offering winter weather safety tips that are meant to enhance your safety this winter season. But remember, it is ultimately up to you to make the decison based upon the information you hear from the National Weather Service. But if you are prepared, it is decision that can save your life.
