TEMPERATURES ACROSS SOUTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA...SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA...
NORTHWEST IOWA...AND NORTHEAST NEBRASKA CONTINUE TO AVERAGE ABOVE
NORMAL THIS NOVEMBER OF 2008. THE MONTH BEGAN WITH SIX DAYS ABOVE
NORMAL...FOLLOWED BY A FEW DAYS BELOW NORMAL. THEN THE MAJORITY OF
THE MONTH CONTINUED AT LEAST SLIGHTLY ABOVE NORMAL. THE PAST THREE
DAYS...AND IN SOME CASES FOUR DAYS...HAVE ALSO REACHED ABOVE NORMAL
HIGH TEMPERATURES. THE AVERAGE HIGH THIS AFTERNOON WAS 46 DEGREES...
WHICH IS 9 ABOVE NORMAL. NORMALLY ON THIS DATE...HIGHS WOULD VARY
FROM THE LOW AND MID 30S BETWEEN BROOKINGS AND WORTHINGTON...TO
AROUND 40 DEGREES BETWEEN ARMOUR AND WAKEFIELD. HIGH TEMPERATURES
ACROSS THE AREA THE PAST FOUR DAYS HAVE AVERAGED 5 DEGREES ABOVE
