The Sioux Empire Amateur Radio Club will once again kick off Skywarn Recognition Day
at the office of the National Weather Service tonight and continue on Saturday.
Skywarn Recognition Day is an event honoring HAM radio operators and the part they play
during severe weather events. This year promises to be another great year of contacts with
other HAMs and NWS Offices across the nation and even into Canada and Mexico.
