LIGHT RAIN AND SNOW ENDED ACROSS SOUTH DAKOTA OVERNIGHT...WITH
PARTIAL CLEARING ACROSS THE NORTH LATE. THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPED
DURING THE LATE EVENING ACROSS THE FAR SOUTHEAST...NEAR THE MISSOURI
RIVER VALLEY. DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATES RAINFALL IN EXCESS OF A HALF
INCH TO THE SOUTH AND EAST OF ELK POINT. SNOWFALL ACROSS THE WEST
AND SOUTH CENTRAL WAS GENERALLY IN THE ONE TO THREE INCH RANGE. UP
TO 4 INCHES OF SNOW FELL AT WESSINGTON SPRINGS AND 5 INCHES AT
HOOVER. SNOWFALL OVER THE NORTHEAST WAS MOSTLY UNDER AN INCH WHILE
PRECIPITATION ACROSS THE SOUTHEAST FELL AS RAIN.

EARLY MORNING LOW TEMPERATURES WERE AROUND 30 DEGREES ACROSS THE
WEST AND NORTH CENTRAL...THE LOWER 30S NORTHEAST AND SOUTH CENTRAL
AND THE MIDDLE AND UPPER 30S ACROSS THE SOUTHEAST. HOOVER WAS THE
COOLEST ON THE PRAIRIES AT 26 DEGREES. IN THE BLACK HILLS CUSTER AND
PACTOLA DAM COOLED TO 25 DEGREES AND DEERFIELD 21 DEGREES.

OVERNIGHT WINDS WERE LIGHT ACROSS THE WEST AND NORTH CENTRAL...
NORTHERLY AT 5 TO 15 MPH ACROSS THE NORTHEAST AND SOUTH CENTRAL
AND NORTHERLY AT 10 TO 20 MPH ACROSS THE SOUTHEAST.

AT 11 AM CDT SKIES WERE SUNNY NORTH OF A SPEARFISH...SISSETON LINE
AND MOSTLY CLOUDY OR CLOUDY TO THE SOUTH. MUCH OF THE STATE REPORTED
TEMPERATURES IN THE UPPER 30S AND LOWER 40S WITH EXTREMES OF 32
DEGREES AT PINE RIDGE TO 46 DEGREES AT ABERDEEN. IN THE BLACK HILLS
CUSTER WAS CLOUDY AND 31 DEGREES. WINDS WERE NORTHERLY AT 7 TO 14
MPH ACROSS THE SOUTHEAST AND EAST CENTRAL...AND LIGHT ACROSS THE
REMAINDER OF THE STATE.
