A Comparison of October and November 2009

While October 2009 was one of the coolest Octobers on record, November 2009 was one of the warmest Novembers on record.  In fact, in Sioux City, Sioux Falls, and Huron, the average high temperature in November was warmer than the average high temperature in October.  For Sioux City, this is the first time that has happened since records began.  For Sioux Falls and Huron, there has only been one other year where the November high temperatures have been warmer than October and that was in 1917.
