Air Quality Advisory for Northwest Iowa

There is an air quality alert for northwest Iowa until 8 am Saturday, December 19th.

The Iowa Department of Natural Resources has issued an air quality advisory which includes all of northwest Iowa.  Fine particulate levels near EPA health standards are expected to persist in that area until winds increase on Saturday.  The IA DNR recommends that persons with respiratory or heart disease, as well as the elderly and children, limit prolonged exertion until air aquality conditions improve.
