A band of rain, periodically mixing with a little snow, will continue moving slowly southeast across northeast Nebraska and northwest Iowa this afternoon and early evening. Liquid precipitation amounts should remain less than 0.05 inch. There could also be up to a couple tenths of slushy snowfall. Any remaining precipitation on untreated outdoor surfaces tonight will freeze, as air temperatures drop into the teens to mid 20s. For the latest road conditions, please check safetravelusa.com.
