Low temperatures across the region this morning were quite mild for this time of year. Normally on the 30th of March, lows would be in the mid 20s to lower 30s. Instead, this morning, minimums only cooled into the mid 40s to lower 50s. For some locations, including Huron and Sioux Falls, this set new records for highest minimum temperatures. With the south winds continuing this evening, temperatures through midnight are not expected to drop below the morning minimums.
