Comparison of Sioux Falls 2010 Year to Date Precipitation with 1993

Heavy rainfall last week has now pushed the year-to-date rainfall in Sioux Falls (at Joe Foss Field) ahead of the pace from the current wettest year on record, 1993. Given the dry forecast through the end of the month of September, there would only need to be 0.78" through the remainder of the calendar year.  If normal precipitation would be received through the end of the year (3.81"), we would shatter the record for wettest year by more than 3 inches.
