Freezing drizzle will produce icy travel tonight and Sunday morning

Areas of freezing drizzle over much of southeast South Dakota, southwest Minnesota and northwest Iowa.

Periods of light freezing drizzle can be expected the rest of the night. With temperatures expected to be in the mid 20s to near 30, roads and sidewalks will accumulate a light glaze of ice tonight into Sunday morning. Temperatures will rise above freezing early Sunday morning in the Missouri Valley and by late Sunday morning in the vicinity of Interstate 90.  Any drizzle or freezing drizzle is expected to come to end by early Sunday afternoon across southwest Minnesota.   If planning travel tonight or Sunday morning, extra time may be necessary to reach your destination due to the ice on roadways.
