Occasional showers and embedded thunderstorms will continue across much of southeast South Dakota, southwestern Minnesota, and northwestern Iowa overnight, gradually diminishing from southwest to northeast through the late night hours. On average, rainfall will range from 0.50 inches to 1.00 inches across the area, with locally higher amounts up to 1.25 inches possible along and west of the Interstate 29 corridor.
