Early Season Chill Prompts Freeze Warning

A strong area of high pressure dropping into the region today will result in very cold temperatures tonight as it becomes centered across the Tri-state area. The entire region can expect temperatures to fall into the upper 20s to mid 30s.  This will produce widespread frost and sub freezing temperatures to areas along and east of the James River Valley.  A freeze warning is in effect for portions of the area late Wednesday and early Thursday morning.
