Sioux Falls on pace for 2nd driest September on record

The official rainfall recorded at the Sioux Falls airport so far in September stands at 0.20" through 9/27. This will come in as the 2nd driest September on record if there is no more rainfall today and we do not expect any rainfall. Also, the total rainfall for Sioux Falls for August  through September stands at 1.60", which will also be a new record low total for this period.
