Potential snowfall for Sunday night through Monday night

There is the potential for some accumulating snowfall early next week, from Sunday night through Monday night across the area. The current forecast puts the best potential for more than 4 inches of snow across southwest Minnesota, however, there is a lot of uncertainty as to where the heaviest snow will set up across the region. If the track of this system shifts to the south, it could bring the heavier snowfall into portions of southeastern South Dakota and northwestern Iowa. We will continue to watch this system and update expected snowfall amounts through the weekend.

Possible snowfall amounts for Sunday Night through Monday Night, with 4 inches or more in Southwest Minnesota and lesser amounts elsewhere
