Another Spring Snowstorm Will Affect The Region Today

Another spring snowstorm will take aim on the region today into this evening. Snow is expected to develop this morning and early afternoon across southeast South Dakota and southwest Minnesota with rain over northwest Iowa and northeast Nebraska. The rain will change over to snow over northwest Iowa and northeast Nebraska during the afternoon. The snow will end from west to east tonight. Snowfall amounts of 4 to 6 inches can be expected across southeast South Dakota and southwest Minnesota, with locally heavier amounts. Further southeast across northwest Iowa and northeast Nebraska, 1 to 4 inches of snow can be expected this afternoon and tonight.
