Arctic Air Outbreak - Prepare Your Winter Survival Kit

Very cold weather will overspread the area today and remain into the weekend.  Temperatures will be 20 to 30 degrees below normal with highs in the single digits above zero and lows from 5 below zero to 20 below zero.  On Thursday and Friday, this cold air will be accompanied by northwest winds of 10 to 20 mph.  The combination of cold temperatures and wind will produce wind chills from 20 below zero to 30 below zero in the morning.  Wind chills are expected to be from 5 below zero to 20 below zero both Thursday and Friday afternoon.
