Wind Advisory In Effect For Parts Of The Region

A Wind Advisory is in effect for parts of the area this afternoon as westerly winds at 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 45 mph spread across the region. The winds will begin to subside after 6 pm. The Wind Advisory is mainly for areas along and south of a line from Wessington Spring to near Centerville South Dakota, and eastward to near Spencer Iowa.

Those with outdoor interests should be prepared for gusty winds and dry conditions through 6 pm in the advisory area.
