Early Week Storm

A strong storm system pushed through the region Monday and Tuesday, bringing with it a mix of rain, freezing rain, sleet and snow to the area.  While rain was noted across much of the region, snow was generally relegated to portions of western and central Nebraska, with freezing rain and sleet observed across portions of south central Nebraska.  The following map and tables show 24-hour total liquid precipitation (which includes rain as well as melted snow and melted ice) as observed through mid-morning Tuesday.
