Snow Continues Across Parts Of The Area Tonight

A potent winter storm system continues pushing across the Central Plains late this evening, bringing accumulating snow to parts of south central Nebraska and north central Kansas. The heaviest snow is falling south of a line from Hebron Nebraska to Phillipsburg Kansas, where amounts of 2 to 4 inches are possible. North of this line, but south of a line from York to Hastings to Beaver City, accumulations of 1 to 2 inches are possible. Farther northwest, only light amounts under 1 inch have been reported in places such as Grand Island, Kearney, Lexington and Ord.

  • Most, if not all of the snow, will fall between 6pm Tuesday evening and 6am Wednesday
