Monday's Strong Wind

 

     High pressure building into the Central Plains from the Dakotas brought strong pressure rises at the rate of about 1 millibar per hour during the afternoon hours Monday.  The strong pressure rises helped generate the strong northwest winds that buffeted a large part of our region.  Below is a summary table of Monday's wind gusts across the region.
