A tornado developed and moved east along Highway 34 in Hamilton County during the late evening on Thursday, June 17, 2009. The National Weather Service Office in Hastings, NE will send out storm damage assessment teams out on Thursday, June 18, 2009 to assess the storm damage and determine the path and strength of the tornado(s). Continue to monitor the Hastings National Weather Service web site for further information.
