How Cool Has July Been So Far In Grand Island, NE? (Updated Through July 29)

Friday, July 24th, the high temperature reached 98 degrees at Central Nebraska Regional Airport in Grand Island. This marked the hottest day of the month so far, and tied for the hottest day of the year.  However, up until the 24th, the month of July as a whole featured below average temperatures in Grand Island. After the 24th, cooler weather soon returned for the end of the month, with highs on the 28th and 29th not escaping the mid-70s.
