Snow Today Into Friday

A pair of upper level storm systems across the western United States will join forces resulting in a round of wintry precipitation across the Central Plains.  A rain and snow mix is possible for some areas this morning, but snow will be the primary focus across the entire area by this afternoon. A prolonged period of light snow is likely on through tonight, before the precipitation winds down on Friday.  Some light snow may linger on Friday, with any additional accumulations generally less than an inch.  Storm total snow accumulations on the order of 3-4 inches will be common across the area by late Friday or early Saturday.
