Snowfall Amounts February 4th-5th

A combination of two storm systems brought snowfall to south central Nebraska and north central Kansas beginning Wednesday night, February 3rd.  Snow spread across the Central Plains Thursday (February 4th) and continued Thursday night, before ending Friday morning (February 5th).  The map below illustrates the 48 hour snowfall amounts ending at 8 am Friday morning (February 5th).  Snowfall amounts generally ranged from 1 to 5 inches, with the higher snowfall amounts found mainly along and east of US Highway 281.
