The northern edge of a strong mid level low pressure system moving across the Southern Plains will bring a risk for light snow to south central Nebraska and north central Kansas, primarily between 6PM Sunday - 12 PM Monday.
Total snow accumulations (as depicted in the lower left graphic below) are not expected to exceed 2 inches anywhere across the NWS Hastings forecast area.
Locations generally WEST of a line from Ord to Franklin Nebraska to Stockton Kansas are most favored to see snowfall between 1-2 inches, while areas east of this line, including Grand Island, Hastings and York, can expect amounts primarily between one-half inch and 1 inch.
