Record Rainfall for May 20th at Grand Island


On Friday, May 20th, 2011, a localized area of heavy rain fell over Central Nebraska Regional Airport at Grand Island, tallying 2.46 inches for the calendar day. This set a new record rainfall for May 20th, shattering the old mark of 1.32 inches set in 1957.
