Loss of 106.7 FM Radio in the Grand Valley

The Colorado Department of Transportation, CDOT's, Weather and Road information station for the Grand Valley, 106.7 FM, was recently forced off the air due to a situation beyond their control.

The State of Colorado is checking out the possibility of another FM frequency for their station in Grand Junction.

An excellent resource to receive the same weather information, plus automatic warning alerts would be from a NOAA Weather Radio receiver. You can get more information on obtaining a NOAA Weather Radio receiver by searching online, or inquiring from local electronics distributors.  Additional information can also be found on our website at: http://www.crh.noaa.gov/gjt/?n=nwr
