On August 8, 2005, the "Energy Policy Act of 2005" went into effect. This Act changed the time change dates for Daylight Saving Time in the U.S. Beginning in 2007, Daylight Saving Time begins on the second Sunday in March (Spring forward in the Spring) and ends the first Sunday in November.
