Rainfall Totals Across the Tri State Region

7 AM 04/21/07 thru 7 AM 04/22/07

Thunderstorms formed Saturday evening over eastern Colorado and eventually moved over Northwest Kansas and Southwest Nebraska. In eastern Colorado there were 5 reports of large hail, including one report Southwest of Clarkville of 2 inch hail.  Though the thunderstorms and showers in Kansas and Nebraska weren’t severe, there were reports of flash flooding in Wichita and Logan counties in Kansas.  Below are selected rainfall reports across the tri-state region as of 7 AM, local daylight time, April 22, 2007 (note: rainfall totals for some locations may be higher as there were still showers in the region past 7 AM).

Thank you to our Coop and CoCoRaHS observers for the observations across the region
