A complex storm system will impact the Tri-State region Friday night and into Saturday morning. Precipitation is expected to begin after sunset tonight, initially starting out as sleet and snow. As a warm front moves northward across the area during the overnight hours, precipitation will switch over to freezing rain. Areas east of a line from Benkelman to Hoxie could see up to 0.25" of ice accumulation while areas west of there could see between a trace and 0.20" ice accumulation. As the warm front continues to push northward on Saturday, precipitation should change to rain before coming to an end by mid-day on Saturday.
