Snow Returns to the Area

      A strong upper level system moved out of the four corners region and across the Tri State Area. This system spread widespread precipitation across the area, with rain, freezing rain, sleet, snow and thunderstorms all reported across the area. The following map is 24 hour snowfall for November 10th and 11th. This map was based on cooperative observer reports and CoCoRAHS data and is only an estimate of actual snowfall. The highest amounts were reported across northern Yuma county, with 10.2 inches of snow reported 3.1 miles north of Alvin.
