    A slow moving storm system moved across the plains bringing widespread precipitation to the region. The following image is estimated precipitation over the period. Data used for the image is a summary of ASOS, cooperative observer, COCORAHS, and radar estimates.

     In addition to the rainfall across the Tri State Area, this system created a wide variety of weather across the area. Heavy snow impacted the Denver area while several rounds of severe weather occured across the plains. The following images are of preliminary storm reports compiled at the Storm Prediction Center.
