75th Anniversary of the Republican River Flood of 1935

The National Weather Service in Goodland will be commemorating the 75th Anniversary of the Republican River Flood of 1935. This great flood in the Republican River Valley during the Dust Bowl and Great Depression took over 100 lives and caused millions of dollars of damage. The National Weather Service in Goodland is giving a series of programs about the flood along the river and has developed a website for more in depth information about this great event.
