Tornadoes across Northwest Kansas

Several tornadoes moved across northwest Kansas Monday afternoon. The strongest tornadoes were in Graham and Norton counties.  The National Weather Service (NWS) conducted a storm damage survey in northern Graham county (about 10 miles north of Hill City) and preliminarily rated the tornado an EF3 on the Enhanced Fujita Scale.  The NWS  will conduct additional storm damage surveys early Tuesday morning.  A web page detailing all the tornadoes will be released Tuesday afternoon.
