July Rainfall and Temperatures...Nothing Here is Normal!

July saw a wide range of rainfall AND temperatures this year! On one hand, some locations across north-central Wisconsin received over 6 inches of rain. On the other hand, some locations over east-central Wisconsin had under an inch!  Here is a graphical estimate of the rainfall in July.

For the month of July, Green Bay and Wausau were below normal while Rhinelander was above normal.  Here is a look at how this year's rainfall compares to previous years.


Finally, as many of you have probably noticed, it was much cooler than normal in July. In fact, Wausau and Rhinelander never once hit 90 degrees for the whole month! Here is a chart comparing the number of days we hit at least 90 degrees this year compared to previous years.
