Abnormally Dry Conditions Developing Across Northeast Wisconsin

Precipitation totals were below normal across much of northeast Wisconsin during July. Drier than normal conditions continued through the first ten days of August.  There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms across the region Sunday night through Monday night. If we do not get rain from this system, some of the weather models would suggest mainly dry condition will continue through the 18th of August.  If this pattern does hold true, the abnormally dry or moderate drought conditions will expand across northeast Wisconsin
