2012 in Northeast Wisconsin: One of the Warmest Years on Record

Much of 2012 has been mild across the region.  Helped by the historic warmth during the spring and a mild start to December, this year will rank as one of the warmest on record.

Here are the top five warmest January-December 13 periods for Green Bay and Wausau:

The warm weather has had an affect on water temperatures of Lakes Michigan and Superior, as you might expect. This year's water temperatures continue to run above the long-term average.
