Quick Hitting Storm Brings Snow to Wisconsin

A fast-moving storm system brought several inches of snow to northeast Wisconsin on December 22. Officially at NWS Green Bay, 6.0" fell, with amounts around 7 inches reported in Manitowoc, Door and Calumet counties.

In general, a swath of 4 to 8 inches fell across the southeast half of Wisconsin. The recent snows, and prospect for a couple more inches late Christmas Eve, guarantee a white Christmas across the state.
