Severe Weather is Possible Today

Severe Thunderstorms are possible through 8 PM 

- Narrow line of storms located east of Mt. Pleasant extending southwest through Kalamazoo moving quickly to the northeast.

- Strongest storms are now located in Northeast Lower Michigan and near Saginaw Bay

- Isolated damaging wind threat exists further south primarily along and east of I-69 through the evening

- Brief localized flooding typical of strong thunderstorms is also possible

RADAR: 4:00 PM EDT

Scattered damaging winds associated with fast-moving thunderstorms and possible brief tornado circulations will continue across eastern parts of Northern Lower Michigan and perhaps extreme eastern portions of the Upper Peninsula. A narrow squall line will also progress across South-Central Lower Michigan with an isolated wind damage threat developing east into Southeast Lower Michigan through late afternoon.
