Yearly Climate Summary 2009

The year 2009 was another very wet year across southwest Lower Michigan, as can be seen by the chart below:

The total yearly snowfall for 2009 was slightly above normal over the south and central sections and near normal over northern sections:

 

The year 2009 brought near normal temperatures to Southwest Lower Michigan:

While 2009 did have a mean temperature that was near normal, it was the coolest year since 2003 over most of the area.
