Become a SKYWARN Spotter

Would you like to directly contribute to the National Weather Service mission to save lives and protect property? A great way to do that is to become a SKYWARN spotter by attending severe storm spotter training over the next couple months. The training presentations are brought to you by the National Weather Service in Grand Rapids and Local County Emergency Management. Admission is free and you will learn how to identify and report severe weather, such as downburst winds, tornadoes and flash flooding, along with learning important severe weather safety tips.
