Heavy Lake Effect Snow Through Tuesday Morning

Lake effect snow warnings and advisories are in effect along and west of Highway 131 through Tuesday Morning. Storm total snowfall accumulations of one to two feet are expected in the heaviest snow band from Grand Haven south down the coast by Tuesday midday  along with blowing and drifting snow. If travelling Interstate 196 south of Holland...Highway U.S. 31 along the lakeshore...U.S 10 west of Evart or Interstate 94 west of Kalamazoo be prepared to encounter highly changeable conditions in snow squalls. Whiteouts are likely and roads will be snow coverered and slippery.
