April 2011 Ranks in Top 10 Wettest

It was a very wet April across southwest Michigan and as a result some rivers are still above flood stage. Fortunately most locations are now beginning to see a receding trend in the rivers.  Below is how Grand Rapids, Lansing and Muskegon's total April 2011 rainfall ranks all-time, since climatological records began back in the mid to late 1800s.
