Flood Watch, and Advisories in effect

A Flood watch is in effect through this evening east of a Battle Creek to Lansing Line

A Flood advisory is in effect south of a Holland to Lansing line

Periods of rain with a few thunderstorms will continue this evening over the watch area.  This will add to significant rainfall totals that already had occured, especially close to Interstate 94 (see image below).

ADDITIONAL RUNOFF FROM ADDITIONAL STORMS WILL CAUSE FLOODING
OF URBAN AREAS...SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS...COUNTRY ROADS...
AS WELL AS FARMLAND ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS.
BE PREPARED FOR RAPID RISES OF WATER LEVELS.

REPORT ANY FLOODING YOU OBSERVE TO THE NEAREST LAW ENFORCEMENT
AGENCY SO THAT THEY MAY TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION TO CLOSE FLOODED
ROADWAYS. PLEASE ALSO SEND US YOUR REPORTS TO:
